a year is going to pass again, and I guess it’s right time to look back and appraise! So… what have I accomplished so far in 2008?
1. Finished my master which I never thought I could able to pass anything but I eventually did…HAHA. GoodBye HKU.
2. One whole work free month in May… yeah! And best of all it was paid leave!
3. Big shift in my career path, well both good and bad, something that I’ve been longing for yet it’s never come in easy
4. Being with one mr. workaholic for over a year…huh?? HAHA …not easy yet lovely!
5. Finally decided to procure life Insurance for myself… yes… it’s never too late to do anything, right?
6. Not my change but my brother got married and moved out in October.. yes it was a happy and memorable day of my family
Just by quantifying my so called big achievements here, I think I’m qualified enough to claim that i've done not bad in 2008. HAHA again ...
So, what would be my resolution for 2009? ummm ... lemme think about it ….

one Year
So it’s gonna be one year on 14th Dec. . . and if u ask me how is it so far? Frankly, there’s nothing much that I can tell you but I do feel contented, satisfied and safe to be with him. And best of all, we are willing to tackle obstacles and project our future together.
my graDuation
I never thought I can really complete my Master study and it’s been a two years torturing process. I always think I’m stupid enough to pay myself for the course and suffered the best of it while other are just hanging around, chilling out and I had to stuck my butt at home or library for all these assignments and headache exams. But then, it’s truly a well paid off, I’ve got myself promoted at work and somehow when I look back, yes it might have been a little too bored or even too much that I’ve studied a design diploma and master (construction project management) ever since I got back from Sydney, but when I look back again, I could be slightly arrogant enough to say that I’ve nothing to be regretted (yet…), and how’s that!
Thanks my friends for coming to share my happy moment, and the flowers are GREAT!! =D

life
Sometimes life is just too ironic.
I was all excited and planned to attend two weddings in the same weekend. Unfortunately, my Uncle has passed away this morning at aged 87. Yes we could easily say that he’d been suffering from sickness and it’s best for him to have a well long rest in heaven now. I mean I haven’t been seeing him that often in recent years until my brother’s wedding. He was healthy and happy enough to spend all night, enjoying the banquet and food … but things started to deteriorate over the past few weeks but yes... its best for him to end all these suffering.
Last Saturday was my last contact with Uncle. Good Bye and farewell and enjoy ur stay in heaven! We shall miss you forever.
As for Jacky and Florence, really sorry for not able to attend your weddings….

waiting...
waiting has never been an easy task. Waiting for buses, waiting for result, waiting to get off work, waiting for pay check, waiting for weekends, yet the most ‘challenging’ task has always been waiting for someone to get off work. . .
i mean, i have always been a person with full persistence and tolerance, but sometimes u have been waiting too long that u start to ask yourself, is it worth waiting? Well i dun really have the right answer but when it happens that's the person u care as much as u care about yourself, and he has on the other hand, been working his axx off for the betterment of future and sadly work is something totally out of his control… u simply have no say but to understand, accept, adapt and adapt and adapt….
Yes, there might be a moment of time and it does come across in my mind that may be i should just head home rather than feeling bad for him to make all this troublesome to rush off work or he might be too tired to see me or even i have enough waiting. But things sometimes do turn out in surprises, by just a simple happy meal tonite and i'm happy and satisfied.
Thanks for understanding me for what i've understood ur job and adapting ur hyper busy job schedule...Mr workaholic.

Just a simple request
My former design lecturer asked me for a favour to hold a brief demonstration on workstations. I figured out that Sales & Marketing people wouldn’t be bothered as it’s purely non-profitable business and together with my knowledge in the Company, I think I might be able to give a hand to lead the show. So instead, I’ve sent email to HR for their notification, then the nightmare of email chains begins…
HR suggested having it passed through to Head of Sales n Marketing and Director of Marketing simply because the showroom is their claimed territory, so I did (what??!!) then might need approval from my superior which is the Big Boss here. Then Head of Sales n Marketing made a quick response by saying “That's Ok, just talk to Head of Marketing & Head of Sales to have proper arrangement.” (What again??!!!) n c c Head of Regional Sales.
I mean… I was planning to do it as simple as possible like having me only to host the demonstration but then it turned out to be a total nightmare by having numerous parties involved and making big fuss of this while it is just a simple demonstration!
What’s wrong with you people for being sooo bureaucratic!! aruuuuuhhh!!!

8th Oct 2008
It was a long but delightful and more than words can express our feelings. The day was 8th Oct 2008, and it’s a life commitment made between my brother Kelvin and ada, new journey of their and our family lives. It all started @ 6am seeing my brother in handsome and ada in gorgeous look + touching vows they have made. But nothing can compare with their interviews expressing their views towards each other and speeches during the banquet… yes… it was very touching see my brother for being sooo sentimental. Really glad that my brother has found the one he loves with genuine heart and nice Tse family. Ada, welcome to Kwan’s family, will cherish you just like i cherish my brother n Potato… keke

Ha …also.. not to mention the dresses I wore … hohoho.. I like them both! thou my hairdo looked too extravagant in real but it turned out nicely on pics bor..haha so not a bad try after all.

Just another weekenD
It was a rather pleasant weekend. We went to Junk Trip with my & and friends on Saturday and Uncle and Auntie came visit us from Toronto + for my brother’s Big wedding on Wednesday.
It was a sunny Saturday morning despite the bad weather forecast due to typhoon Higos, far better than we expected. We were lucky to catch a bit sun before the weather turned cloudy in the afternoon. Then we went to Po Toi Island for super yummy seafood and had a little walk afterwards. Actually, the island looks kinda deserted to me thou it seems quiet and peaceful enough, but being a normal metropolitan Lego human being like me … I can never imagine myself living in this kinda environment. …

Nice signage.. haha

the neighbour who sings!
I’ve a neighbour, female, single, in her mid 40s plus a very kind heart. Singing is her best interest so she decided to practice her singing everyday. She is also a hardcore Christian, she listens to preaches online everyday as she sings along so to make sure her singing praises the Lord very well. Sometimes, singing hymns might seem slightly monotonous so she has decided to go for alternatives by singing those all time favourite songs, those what we called “金曲”.
Everything seems very normal… but not until u’ve a neighbour @ WORK!!!! Unfortunately, because she is sooo nice that u feel very bad to if u reprove her….. ho sad…sigh….
試問係一個正正學常常既工作環境底下.竟然有位鄰居每天不厭其煩又唔理其他人既感受…係度唱歌、啍歌…可憐既我日日就受到佢既煎熬…HO SAD.....

Hit The Road Cafe, CWB
"Hit The Road" Cafe, a recent recovery of our upstairs cafes exploration & it turned out something that we like and wouldn't mind to go there again, again n again.... Initially i was attracted by the black outlines every time i passed by so one day we decided to give it a shot. Food were more than better than we expected but i guess it's the cozy environment does it all.
